WHAT NOW, part II Suck It Up and Get To Work

- Resa LaRu Kirkland

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. --2 Timothy 3:13

Worse and worse. Those words kind of jump out at you. Their word perfect prophecy demands our attention.

I'm afraid that my most recent article led many to believe that I was saying there is no hope. Let there be no mistake; America and Israel will triumph, and our enemies--who are indeed the enemies of God--will be cut off from His presence. Our American warriors will fight valiantly, and will be the only thing standing between the good people of the earth and total annihilation. But in all critical points in history, there has been one moment when the dye was cast, and the ability to stop a great evil or start a great good passed by unclaimed. This is the instant in which we now find ourselves; the moment of "too late," not "no hope." It is too late to prevent the coming war, and there will be nukes involved, from more than one enemy nation. We're at the top of the roller coaster now after our long decades of ascent, and forces that are now beyond our control will take over as surely as gravity takes control of every car in the train. It is too late to exit--or stop--the ride.

All I mean to say is that it is going to get worse...and worse. I say it to prepare us, NOT to defeat us. Knowing that we will be losing in no way lets us off the hook for continuing to fight. Now let us no longer dwell on what is done, and can't be undone. The ride is inevitable, but how we react to it is still firmly in our control. And that is good news....................
