WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE ACLU?

It is time we stopped a moment and thought about how America has changed since the American Civil Liberties Union became a marketing subsidiary of the American Bar Association. Some have asked me how I know the ACLU is part of the ABA. The answer is basic. I've been in Marketing for most of my professional career. The objective of all Marketing Strategies is to create demand for the products or services a business or profession wants to sell. The legal profession is no exception. America is overloaded with lawyers, so it is necessary to find a way to increase demand for their services. If the ACLU is not the marketing arm of the ABA by design, it is by accident. Either way, the results are the realities we have to live with.
The examples of litigation generated by the ACLU are abundant. During the early 1940's, Priests, Pastors, and Rabbi's came to the High School I attended to participate in Memorial Services for those graduates that were killed during WW II. Each service included prayer and religious commentary. Tears were shed and the pain of grief was extremely unpleasant. But there was no outrage. There was no resentment toward each other. The non-believers respected those who believed. Those who believed respected those who did not. Respect was gracious and mutual...........
