Belafonte, Farrakhan Speak At Convention
March 12, 2006 (GARY, Ind.) - Entertainer Harry Belafonte has renewed his criticism of President Bush during the second day of the 2006 National Black Peoples Unity Convention in Gary.
The four-day gathering is aimed at developing a long-term economic empowerment plan for blacks.
Belafonte was heavily critical in his speech yesterday of the White House's handling of hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. He also criticized Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who he said has never publicly questioned White House decisions regarding the war in Iraq.

Which one should be more embarrassed to be in the other's company? Belafonte or Chavez?
