Conservative Writer- A Plagiarist?
Editor and Publisher has gotten to the bottom of this deal with the Washington Post's new conservative blog, Red state America. (See story here)
Several Conservative bloggers and writers have called for the post to drop the Red State America blog writer, Ben Domenech, because an extensive search of has past work has revealed that he has plagiarized the work of many writers, including their work in his as if he himself wrote the words lifted.
Here is where the New Media world can come to the service of all, whether you are a leftist or a conservative. It seems that lefty bloggers were behind the search of Mr. Domenech's work. It is they who discovered definitive proof that he stole the work of other writers and used them without attribute.
So, kudos to those lefty bloggers. We don't need people who have to lift other's work to represent us in the world. There are PLENTY of others, able to write and able to express their own ideas.
The Washington Post should get rid of Domenech and get someone who is untainted by plagiarism.
