Democrats to Revive Spirit of McGovern and Vietnam?

Democrats will lead us "forward" into a better future, says Nancy Pelosi and her band of revelers in the aftermath of their takeover of Congress? Democrats have "new" ideas, they claim?
Not if this report is any indication of that "forward" looking...
McGovern, if you do not know, was one of the Democrat's biggest losers and is responsible for driving his party into the arms of communists, rabid anti-Americans, counterculturists and malcontents. His landslide loss to Nixon threw away what might have been a chance by his Party to depose the Republicans and the Nixon administration, something that they ended up doing a few years later by turning Watergate into the morass it became, materially harming this country.
McGovern lost because he turned away from his Party and let it be overtaken by fringe, hate-groups and his reliance on these fringe individuals lost him the vote of conservative, stable, clear thinking Democrats the country over.
In short, McGovern is a nut.
And now he is to become the "new" Democrat's counsel?
It is clear that the Democrats are not going to be looking forward at all, but backward. Backward to one of their worst candidates, one of their most outside the mainstream nuts they ever put forth as a candidate for president.
And all the fears that they will cut and run from Iraq is also vindicated by this meeting of tiny minds.
So, the Democrats plan to make this a repeat of the end of Vietnam.
Can we please recall what the result of America's cut and run from Vietnam?
3 million murdered by the communists who the Democrats and anti-war nuts gave a free hand to kill without any restraint.
The Democratic Party will, again, have blood on its hands should we allow them to make us cut and run from the Middle East. Worse, it will prove the bin Ladden theory that the USA is a "weak horse" correct and will invite more terror attacks on westerners. Just as the first WTC bombing did, Kobar Towers, the Cole, Somalia, etc., etc.
Democrats are weak on security and will kill more Americans because of it.

McGovern to meet with Congress on war
LINCOLN, Neb. - George McGovern, the former senator and Democratic presidential candidate, said Thursday that he will meet with more than 60 members of Congress next week to recommend a strategy to remove U.S. troops from
Iraq by June.

If Democrats don't take steps to end the war in Iraq soon, they won't be in power very long, McGovern told reporters before a speech at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
